Aromatic Connection
The tactile feel of clay reflects my energy as I shape a jar on memory lane, imagining her mixing fresh green mangoes with spices. This creates a connection between past and present. Even though the handmade pickles feel distant, my memory stays as clear as if it were yesterday. These memories fill me with joy and help me imagine us sitting together, sharing that delicious pickle and making special memories with grandma!
Presence in Absence is an installation that tells a story of relations and memories. It explores the link between cultural landscapes and establishes a dialogue between lived and living memories. This show narrates my memories and curiosity for materials, processes, and analysis.
